“Kusto Agro” has implemented many programs and projects for the development of settlements where the shareholders live. One of the last events that the company conducted was the Eco-Challenge in the village Lipno, Lubara region.
The Eco-Challenge goal
Eco-Challenge is a kind of ecological relay race, which is designed to popularize among the population respect for the environment. The main goal of the event is to draw the attention of the inhabitants to the fact that it is necessary to take care of a clean environment.
The Eco-Challenge has already spread in the world. In Kazakhstan, such events are regularly held, including with the support of the US Embassy. In Ukraine, such environmental initiatives are not yet common. “Kusto Agro” decided to correct the situation, proving that it not only leases land, but also takes care of the environment.
“Kusto Agro” shows an example
April 27 in the village Lipno Lubara region launched the Eco-Challenge. The action included cleaning garbage and dry branches, removing weeds and shrubs. The event was attended by the teams “Kusto Agro”, “Agroline Ukraine”. Didn’t miss such event and general director of LLC “Kusto Agro” Daulet Nurzhanov and his first deputy Alisher Tjazhin, who by their example showed how to take care of the environment.
The initiative of the company was supported by the shareholders, villagers, the director of the local school Anatoly Grigorevych Romanchyshyn and the village head Oleg Vladimirovich Kovtoniuk. In total, it was possible to attract more than 80 people to the event.
Participants of the subbotnik removed the park territory near the office building of Agroline Ukraine, cleared the bushes, whitewashed the trees, and planted the thuys purchased by the company.
“Kusto Agro” proved that they aren’t just an investor, but also a reliable partner who will always help.
— Such an event is an opportunity to strengthen the relations between shareholders and tenants, to increase confidence in the company. Eco-Challenge has proved that people are committed to cooperation, — says the director of LLC “Agroline Ukraine” Petr Kvashuk.
Business before pleasure
The Eco-Challenge ended with a general lunch, prepared by the company’s own employees.
Among the dishes were soup, shish kebab and pilaf according to a special recipe.
There was a positive atmosphere, because the employees of Kusto can pull together citizens and prove that not too much effort is required to restore order to the territory of the village.
Such Eco-Challenge will be held in May in all localities where the company leases land.
